Adele just wrapped her world tour this Sunday night in Auckland, Australia after
15 months and made a pretty shocking revelation to her fans.
According to New Zealand Herald, the British singer announced at the end of her
last show that she may never tour again, EVER! Adele told that touring isn’t
something she is good at.
“Applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable. I don’t know if I will ever tour again”,
the Hello singer told. She continued talking to the audience saying that the only
reason she toured was “you” [referring to the audience].
“I’m not sure if touring is my bag,” Adele told the crowd which had more than
The news isn’t completely unexpected actually, as the ‘When We Were Young’
singer has told in a couple of interviews last year that she plans on taking a long
break now that her tour is finished. Talking about the future plans in 2016, Adele
told Vanity Fair that she would still like to make new records, but doesn’t really
see herself going on tours.
“I’d still like to make records, but I’d be fine if I never heard [the applause]
again. I’m on tour simply to see everyone who’s been so supportive…I don’t
care about money. I’m British, and we don’t have that… thing of having to earn
more money all the time,” she told.
Back in September sources close to the singer told The Sun that Adele wanted to
take a 10 year long break after finishing the tour, in order to stay close to her
family and most importantly be around her son, Angelo, while he grows up.
Hopefully these are just rumors, because 10 years without hearing any new
music from Adele would be very upsetting.
Meanwhile, talking about the ‘25’ tour, Adele has performed in many cities all
around the world and the tour has had numerous hilarious moments, where
Adele showed her funny and positive side to her fans. She still has 4 more shows
in the UK this Summer (Jun 28, 29 and Jul 01, 02) at the Wembley Stadium in
London. The tickets are already sold out so the lucky fans who managed to get
them will get to see Adele’s probably last show ever.
