This June, Beyonce and her team had to face a lawsuit. The independent movie maker Matthew Fulks, claimed that the singer had stolen nine elements from his short movie “Palinoia” to use in her “Lemonade” video.

In July, the “Sorry” singer’s attorney responded to the accusations by saying that the elements used – such as “graffiti and persons with heads down,” “parking garage,” and “side-lit ominous figures” – are textbook examples of what does not constitute copyright infringement.

Apparently the judge in charge agreed as the lawsuit has been dismissed.
