It’s been half a year since the singer Christina Grimmie fatally lost her life after being shot by a fan after a concert at Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida.
Now it has been announced by her family that they have filed a lawsuit against the Orlando venue where the 22 year old singer was killed.
According to Billboard, the Grimmie family’s lawsuit contains wrongful and negligent infliction of emotional stress that was caused by her shooting.
They are requesting future support that normally the singer would have provided to her family, if she had lived to normal life. They’re also including medical, funeral expenses and the damage caused to them by the whole tragic event.
No date has been set for the trial, but we hope for the best.
