People’s Choice Award winner Ellen DeGeneres used the monologue segment of her show to lecture Donald Trump on immigration following his controversial order to ban Muslims from entering the United States.
Trump screened “Finding Dory” at the White House Theater over the weekend, and DeGeneres is part of the movie, so she used the movie plot to “lecture” Trump on immigration.
“I’m just gonna talk about the very nonpolitical, family-friendly PCA-winning ‘Finding Dory’”, Ellen told.
She continued saying that Dory arrives in America and ends up at the Marine Life Institute behind a large wall (referring to the wall Trump wants to build), so basically Dory has to get over the wall and so she does.
“Even though Dory gets into America, she ends up separated from her family, but the other animals help Dory,” the host continued.
“Animals that don’t even need her. Animals that don’t have anything in common with her. They help her, even though they’re completely different colors. Because that’s what you do when you see someone in need — you help them.”
