Jennifer Lopez appeared on The Ellen Show this Tuesday and opened up about her dating life and how she’s always seen dating younger men.
“OK, first of all, stop. I don’t date younger men," the 47 year old singer told Ellen when she asked her about that.
JLo then continued that it’s not about being younger, it’s about who the person is, “If I like them, I like them and if I don’t, I don’t”, she told.
After that she continued saying that she’s attracted to people’s spirit, soul and their energy.
The “Ain’t Yo Mamma” singer also talked about her relationship with her ex, Casper Smart, saying it was the first guy she dated that was younger than her and she got labeled right away.
Lopez and Smart dated for four years, and split on August 2016. After Casper, Jennifer had another relationship that went public with rapper Drake, who also is much younger than the singer, 17 years younger to be precise.
On the show, Ellen asked Lopez what was going on with her and Drake, while showing the audience the picture below:
But the 47 year old singer joked that they were just “hanging out”. Lopez also confirmed the rumors that they collaborated on a track together, which will probably be on Drake’s album. Jennifer told she doesn’t know if it will ever be released or not, because that will be up to Drake’s management. Ellen also teased whether they spent Valentine’s Day together, but JLo quickly told no because he’s off on tour.
Recent reports have said that the couple’s relationship has had its ups and downs, although they’ve only been dating for two months. The fact that Drake is currently in Europe to tour has made their relationship “die down a bit”, but we have to wait and see what happens.
