During a recent interview for Vanity Fair (http://www.vanityfair.com/style/2016/06/stephanie-seymour-kendall-jenner-gigi-hadid-supermodels ), the veteran model Stephanie Seymour claimed that Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid had no right to be called supermodels.
“They are completely different than we were, supermodels are sort of the thing of the past. They deserve their own title. [Kendall and Gigi] are beautiful girls, and I support all of them, but they need their own title.”-Seymour said.
“…Bitches of the moment!”- she shared with a laugh when asked what their title should be. “That would be a good title for them.”
But of course when Gigi send Kendall this comment, she decided to backfire.
“If you choose to be a cyber-bully, I’m going to stick up for myself.”- Kendall started.
“Obviously, I have so much respect for those women [supermodels of the past], but right now, we’re the models of this time. Significant? Maybe. Hardworking? For sure.”
