After La La Land won all the awards it was up for at the Golden Globes Awards, there was no doubt the movie would own the Academy Awards too.
The 2017 Oscars nominations were revealed on Tuesday morning and as expected, La La Land starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling were leading the list.
Not only were they leading this year’s list with 14 nominations, but they also tied Titanic and All About Eve’s record for most Oscar nominations.
La La Land is up for all the important awards and Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone’s work in the movie has certainly been rewarded.
Titanic won 11/14 of the awards it was up for in 1998 and is currently tied with The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King for most Oscar wins.
Will La La Land break the record? We will have to wait and see.
