Lady Gaga headlined the Weekend 1 of 2017 Coachella Music and Arts Festival
last night and once again showed how great of a performer she is!
The Million Reasons singer was replacing Beyonce, who was set to headline
Coachella but had to reschedule her concert for next year due to her pregnancy.
Even though Gaga didn’t mention Beyonce during her concert, she did perform
Telephone, her well known collaboration with the Lemonade singer.
However, Beyonce’s absence wasn’t felt by the Coachella audience as Gaga gave
performances filled with amazing choreography, confetti and of course great
vocals. The 31 year old singer also didn’t invite any singer to perform with her
and carried the show by herself.
The peak of Lady Gaga’s performance was when she debuted her brand new
single for the Coachella fans. The song is called “The Cure” and is pretty
different from Gaga’s current music style. It has a hint of dancehall and pop and
fans seem to love it already! Hours after being released, “The Cure” has reached
the number one spot in the US iTunes.
The song is also available to stream on Spotify and you can listen to it below:
