Selena Gomez is covering the American edition of Vogue magazine for the first
time and is looking stunning!
Photographed by the famous photographers Mert Alas and Mac Pigott and posing
in some high fashion pieces for the April issue of Vogue, the “cool, candid, and
courageous” Selena also opened up about her personal life.
When interviewer Rob Haskell asked the 24 year old singer whether she’s
dating The Weeknd or not, she told: “;Look, I love what I do, and I’m aware of
how lucky I am, but — how can I say this without sounding weird? I just really
can’t wait for people to forget about me.”;
Selena continued that everything she has said about her relationships in the past
has come back “to bite her” and that’s why she doesn’t want to talk about them
The ‘It Ain’t Me’ singer also talked about Instagram, considering that she is
currently the most followed person on the social network with over 113 million
followers. But it looks like she’s not a big fan of it anymore.
“As soon as I became the most followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked
out,” Gomez told Vogue.
“It had become so consuming to me. It’s what I woke up to and went to sleep
to. I was an addict, and it felt like I was seeing things I didn’t want to see, like it
was putting things in my head that I didn’t want to care about."
The singer also revealed that she’s posting less nowadays because she no longer
has the app on her phone and doesn’t even know the password to her account.
Selena also opened up about the time she took off last year to go to a rehab
facility in Tennessee.
“My self-esteem was shot. I was depressed, anxious. I started to have panic
attacks right before getting onstage, or right after leaving the stage. Basically I
felt I wasn’t good enough, wasn’t capable”, she revealed.
However rehab helped her a lot apparently, because she admitted that it felt
incredible to be with real people who “couldn’t give two sh*ts” about who she
was and were fighting for their lives.
