Snoop Dogg has just released the music video for “Lavender”, his remix of the
original song by BadBadNotGood and Kaytranada.
The video has already caused quite the controversy, as Snoop is seen in the clip
pointing a gun at a clown dressed as President Donald Trump.
The video takes place in a world that’s populated by clowns. Comedian Michael
Rapaport stars in the music video as a clown that gets shot by the police for
smoking marijuana while driving. Then the clown that’s dressed like Trump is
shown on TV saying he wants to deport “all Doggs”.
Snoop Dogg told Billboard all the problems he had with Trump’s current
administration during a recent interview.
“The ban that this motherf–ker tried to put up; him winning the presidency;
police being able to kill motherf–kers and get away with it… It’s a lot of clown
s— going on that we could just sit and talk on the phone all day about, but it’s a
few issues that we really wanted to lock into [for the video] like police, the
president and just life in general”, the rapper told.
