Solange Knowles is covering the February issue of Interview Magazine and it seems to be a very special issue, as the interview was done by Solange’s younger sister, Beyonce.
After interviewing my mother and father for A Seat At The Table, it feels like full circle to have chosen my sister to interview me for @InterviewMag. Spoke about womanism, growing up in a hair salon, and choosing between "I could fall in love" and "No Me Queda Mas". It is one of my favorites to date.
“It is one of my favorite talks to date.” – Solange told about the interview explaining it felt like a full circle after she interviewed her mother and father before for her latest album, “A Seat At The Table”.
While we’re at it, Solange’s latest album has received a lot of good reviews and it was one of most critically acclaimed albums of last year.
For that, she doesn’t forget to thank her older sister Beyonce, who apparently pushed Solange to work with her husband Alan Ferguson on the visuals.

“I remember telling you years ago that I wanted to work with him, but I was scared because I felt like our relationship, by the grace of God, is the one thing that I can count on to be intact and to be solid,” Solange told.
After that Beyonce told her younger sister that they would be “just fine” and it would work out in a great way as they “love and respect one another and each other’s vision”.
