Teen Choice Awards aired live this Saturday to celebrate another year of teens voting for their favorite stars.

Due to the unfortunate events which  happened this year, the show decided to dedicate a segment to gun violence where they mentioned victims from shootings. Later they asked everyone to use the hashtag #StoptheViolence to raise awareness through social media.

This being said many Christina Grimmie fans were upset they didn’t mention her name during the tribute.

The singer who died this year due to  gun shooting was also nominated and won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Web Star:Music, but even this was not aired, making her fans more angry.
