We’re sure you remember Disney’s famous movie Life-Size starring Tyra Banks
and Lindsay Lohan. Well now, it has just been announced that a Life-Size sequel
is coming and we couldn’t be more excited!
The news has just been announced by cable network Freeform during their
upfront presentation in New York City.
Freeform first revealed about three years ago that they were planning to do a
remake of Life-Size, but considering plans usually change all the time, most
people were a bit skeptical. The cable network announced that Life-Size 2 will be
premiering in December 2018, as a holiday movie. It will be a pretty long wait,
but it will definitely be worth it.
Tyra Banks, who played Eve the doll, also confirmed the news via her Twitter
account in the most exciting way. “One word: LIFESIZE. Oops… 2 words:
LIFESIZE 2,” the model posted.

In the original movie which came out in 2000, a young girl (played by Lindsay
Lohan), bring her doll back to life after attempting to resurrect her mother with
the help of a book that contains magic spells.
17 years after, Eve, played by Tyra Banks once again, is all grown up and
decides to help a young woman to live and love again. During these adventures,
Eve herself will experience life’s ups and downs.
Since the news came out, Lindsay Lohan fans have been wondering whether she
will be making a cameo appearance in the Life-Size sequel, but Freeform hasn’t
said anything about that yet.
Meanwhile, Banks told Variety in 2015 that no one can play Eve better than her,
so it’s obvious they would cast her again.
“There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much! I’m just
joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve,” the America’s Next Top Model
host told at the time.
Freeform told that Life-Size 2 will be a “fun, edgy, modern Christmas movie,”
and we can’t wait till December 2018 to see it.
