Vin Diesel is opening up about his kiss with his The Fast and the Furious co-star
Charlize Theron, and how it impacted the upcoming movie of the series.
When the trailer for the Fate of the Furious was released back in December of
2016 by being launched in Times Square, it broke the record for most viewed
trailer in 24 hours.
The trailer managed to get around 139 million views in all platforms and
according to Vin Diesel, it was his onscreen kiss with Theron that helped the
trailer break the record (which is now held by the movie It, who reached 197
million views on early April).
“There is no trailer that has ever been viewed as much as the Fast 8 trailer. The
biggest moment in that trailer is the kiss between Cipher and Dom,” Diesel, who
plays Dominic Toretto in the movie, told.
He also called his onscreen kiss with Charlize the biggest moment in trailer
history, but that’s not the first time he’s speaking so well of the upcoming
movie. The 49 year old actor told CinemaCon that the film would be “the best
film you ever saw,” so we guess we’ll have to wait and see it it’s true.
The Fate of the Furious officially hits theatres this Friday, April 14.
